Dearly Beloved in Christ,

We are entering another month with the Alimighty. Let us give thanks for His manifold blessings in oue life. In this month, we are planning our retreat. Let us look at ourselves and re dedicate before God for a better life.. Sevika Sangam is planning a fasting prayer on 26th of this month. All the programs help us to renew ourselves and march towards the kingdom of God.

1 John 4:10 says that “This is Love; not that we loved God, but that He loved us and send his son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”. While a new testament brings the concept of God’s love to full expression. The quality of love is present throughout the Old Testament, for love originates with God. If God is known by what He does, then truly God’s name is love, for God reveals himself as love. If we don't love, we don't know God, for God is love. In Deuteronomy, Moses explained to the Israelites that God set his heart on them, not because they were great but because the Lord loved them. In Hosea the same thought expressed: “When Israel was a child, I love him”. Like a mother, God tenderly taught Israel to walk, healing him, leading him with the cords of human kindness, ties of love and bending down to feed him. (Hos 11: 1-4). Isaac Watts write = “Love so amazing, so divine, demands my sould, my life, my all”. Psalmist says that I will sing about your strength, every morning I will sing aloud of your constant love. You have been a refuge for me, a shelter in my time of trouble. I will praise you, my defender, my refuge is god, the God who loves me. He died on the cross with his hands stretched out in love to the whole world. The community Jesus brought into being is to exhibit God’s love, the humble, self sacrificing love. May the Almighty God bless each one of you.
